ANNE FRANCIS, television's HONEY WEST (autographed letter)

Anne Francis was known for her ground-breaking roles in the science-fiction film FORBIDDEN PLANET and the television action-drama series HONEY WEST. FORBIDDEN PLANET marked a first in color, big-budget, science-fiction-themed motion pictures. HONEY WEST was an awesome one-season detective series in which she played a perky blonde private investigator who was as quick with body slams as witty one-liners. She was also in BLACKBOARD JUNGLE, FUNNY GIRL, BAD DAY AT BLACK ROCK, and many other films.

We wrote to her more than once to see if she would be interested in signing autographs at our film festival but she was too ill at the time to attend. Her letter is signed, an autograph not easily found or available these days. Sold on a first-come, first-serve basis.
